What is SBO?

Synchronous Bandwidth Optimizer (SBO) is a process of reducing bandwidth of RTP headers for VoIP calls. SBO can directly affect total bandwidth consumption in a VoIP system without compromising media quality.

Transmission cost is one of the main problem in VoIP, and for that SBO is considered as the most effective way to reduce operation cost at maximum 80%. SBO multipath uses high quality technology that works with any firewall and NAT, making it possible to use it in very restricted network. Another major advantage of using SBO is it improves Average Call Duration (ACD). the multipath technology also allows to use multiple internet connections of different type at the same time
